Transferring money from one number to another is easy.

With the enhancement of the latest technology, the world comes close to us. Technology helps to speed up the daily activities for us like me because it creates a more efficient environment in many ways.

Here, I will talk about the way of transferring money from one number to another in terms of telecom service providers in Bangladesh. Let’s dive right in.

Banglalink Balance Transfer

Banglalink provides balance transfer service for their customers.

Life will be much easier now because Banglalink is introducing a Balance Transfer Service

Now you can easily transfer the balance from Banglalink to Banglalink anytime you want.

Features:

  • Under Banglalink Balance Transfer, prepaid and call & control customers can transfer balance to similar users.
  • New subscribers can use this balance transfer facility after one month of activation.
  • To activate this service you have to register first. For that dial *1000# and follow the below instruction.
  • After dialing the USSD code, you will get a registration SMS. After reply to that SMS, you’ll receive a pin number
  • For every balance transfer activity, you need to insert the pin code. More detailed procedures are mentioned below.

    Service Activation Procedures

    How To Register:

    • Dial *1000# -> Balance Transfer -> Set PIN -> New PIN -> Confirm New PIN -> (Pop Up Message:) “You have successfully set your new PIN” 

    Balance Transfer Process

    How to Transfer Balance Through SMS:

    • Go to create new message option and type ‘BTR<space>Amount<space>Receiver Mobile Number<space>PIN’
    • Then send the message to 1000
    • You will receive a confirmation

    How to Transfer Balance Through USSD:

    Dial *1000# -> Balance Transfer -> Amount -> Enter the number -> Enter your PIN

     

    Change PIN Process

    How to Transfer Balance Through SMS:

    • Go to create a new message option and type CPIN<space>OLDPIN<space>NEWPIN. Example: ‘CPIN 1234 4321’
    • Then send the message to 1000

    How to Transfer Balance Through USSD:

    Dial *1000# -> Change PIN -> Enter Current PIN -> Enter NEW PIN -> Confirm PIN

     

    Conditions:

    • In a single transaction minimum Tk. 10 and maximum Tk. 100 can be transferred.
    • In a maximum Tk. 500 and in a month Tk.1000 can be transferred
    • Transferred amount should be in a round figure.
    • User can not transferred balance if they have any emergency balance due
    • For successful balance transfer, both sender and receiver should be eligible for this service.

        Promotional Charge:

        • Tk. 2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC) from the sender’s balance
        • Tk. 2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC) from receiver’s end

        Grameenphone Balance Transfer

        Balance Transfer (BTR) Procedures 

        New Process:

        • From now on new subscribers don't have to follow the following process, they will have a built-in option for balance transfer in their new SIM.
        • Existing subscribers will not get built-in a facility in their SIM unless and until they change their SIM. 

         

        New Balance Transfer Proces:

        Transfer Balance-> Give Receiver's Mobile Number -> Confirm Mobile No -> Give Amount -> Confirm Amount -> Give PIN

        New Pin Change Process: 

        Give Old PIN-> Give New PIN-> Confirm New PIN Register 

         

        To Register:

        Dial *121*1500# then press 1
         

        To Transfer Balance:
        Dial *121*1500# then press 2 and follow the instructions.


        To Change PIN:
        Dial *121*1500# then press 3 and follow the instructions.

        Robi Balance Transfer

        Robi makes life easier by introducing their balance transfer service. Now users can easily transfer balance anytime they want.

         

        To Transfer Balance:

        • Robi users don’t need to register for transferring balances. All they have to do is type the total amount and send it to 1212 018XXXXXXXX ( here 018XXXXXXXX is the balance recipient number)
        • Users will be auto registered after the first transaction.
        • User will get a pin coder after a successful transaction. For future transactions, they have to continue using the pin code.
        • Call 1210 or dial *140*6*1# to transfer balance.

           

          To Request for Balance:

          • For request, user have to have at least 60 paisa in their account
          • To get a balance, users have to type the requested amount and send the SMS to 1211 018YYYYYYYY (here 018YYYYYYYY is the balance sender number)

               

              Charge:

              • BDT 2 + (VAT, SD &SC) will be charged from sender and
              • BDT 2 + (VAT, SD & SC) will be deducted from the receiving amount from the receiver.

                 

                Terms & Conditions

                • To become eligible for balance transfer, user connection must be active for at least 30 days.
                • Per day prepaid user can transfer Tk.500 and for single transaction maximum transaction amount is Tk.100
                • And for postpaid, user can transfer Tk. 500 per day and for single transaction maximum Tk. 100

                  Airtel Balance Transfer

                  Now Airtel customers can easily transfer balance to any airtel to airtel number. When users are unable to go to the recharge point to get balance, this solution allows them to transfer balances at any time, anywhere. 

                  Follow the below steps to learn more about the Airtel Balance Transfer service.
                  For Request a balance transfer user has to type BTR XXXX (Pin number is optional) 016XXXXXXXX ( receiver number) amount (for eg. 100) and send SMS to 1000.

                  Terms & Conditions:

                  • This service is applicable between prepaid users.
                  • To become eligible for this service, your airtel connection should be active for at least 30 days.
                  • Tk.2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC) will be charged from the sender.
                  • Tk.2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC) will be charged from the receiver.
